Hello! My name is Brittany Smith and I’m the co-owner of She Persisted Events. I was born in Georgia and raised in Nashville, TN so as you may guess, southern hospitality is my specialty. I have spent the better part of my life learning to cater to the needs of those around me. This fact is especially shown through my education. While chasing my dreams, I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Knowing that I wanted to have a direct impact on the people in my community, I then obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University. Fine arts and creativity have also been a huge part of my life. I began dancing at the age of two and continued throughout my college years. That passion for art transcends through event planning. Event planning has always been a passion of mine. Assisting with coordinating dance shows, fashion shows, banquets, parties for various people and organizations has given me the vision to open this business. It’s the fine details and planning that make it all worthwhile. I plan to transcend my roots of southern hospitality and creativity into any event you host.

Hello! My name is Michelle Tribue and I’m co-owner of She Persisted Events. I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. Not many people can say they are a true Nashville Native. For the majority of my life, I have been called the family “secretary”. It was no surprise when I chose to major in business in college. I attended Austin Peay State University where I received my Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. I also attended Trevecca Nazarene University where I received a Master’s in Business Administration. The knowledge and skills I obtained in college, gave me the push to start this business. Planning and organizing has always been a passion of mine. The brainstorming phase is my absolute favorite. For many people the thought of planning an event can be stressful, but for me, planning is the exact opposite. It is a stress reliever. I have evolved with planning and executing events in parties starting from when I was in middle school until present day. Paying close attention to details is one of my specialties. I believe that the small details make the events pop and leave guest with an amazing experience.

Better Together

We are more than just business partners. We are more than friends. Furthermore, we are more like sisters than anything else. We became friends back in elementary school, and family shortly after that. We have spent countless hours together decorating for events and dance shows to helping each other decide how we were going to decorate our college dorm rooms. It is a blessing to have someone to work with who you can agree to disagree with, and still love each other at the end of the day. Our teamwork is amazing. We know that teamwork makes the dream work. We will spend countless hours brainstorming to make sure your events are ran sufficiently and effortlessly. We truly appreciate each and every one that considers trusting us with their special event.
